The EFC is proud to co-sponsor The "Right to Water" conference,  an interdisciplinary and international conference to elucidate strategic possibilities for ensuring equitable access to water worldwide. This event will explore how universal calls for the right to water articulate with local historical and geographical contexts. Continuing in the EFC tradition, our annual two-day conference at Minnowbrook Conference Center in Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondacks will be focused on the needs of municipal leaders and will provide technical assistance, funding updates and practical skill-building sessions.

Pricing for the conference is all inclusive (3 meals a day, lodging, programming). Rates are $250 for municipal leaders and community representatives and $495 for Technical Assistants, agency representatives, engineers and consultants. All lodging will be double occupancy; if you have particular needs or a roommate request, please let us know via the registration form.

This program included a tour of the new Syracuse Center of Excellence building and its green innovations. The program also included funding and policy updates from the NYS EFC. New NYS EFC President Matt Driscoll discussed his ideas for how the Environmental Facilities Corporation.

Overview of Green Design and Energy Issues for Planning and Zoning Officials
